Hi. I'm Bob. And you’ve heard it all before. We all have trauma. A lot of us come from a dark past. To tell you my story is just going to tell you something you’ve heard before. Every spiritual coach has the same story. Maybe some details are different, but it’s mostly the same thing. There’s loss. There’s drug use. There’s the solitude. Then there’s enlightenment. I’m not here to sell you false promises. I’m here to give you the truth.

My entire life, I suffered from bipolar disorder. It led to a lot of heartache. It led to a lot of debt. It led to a lot of mistakes. I pretty much ruined my life. My relationships were destroyed. My friendships as well. My financial situation was a mess. It ruined my filmmaking and stand up comedy careers. And, yes, there was lots and lots of substance abuse.

But for me, true change came from an unlikely source….

One day, I texted my best friend and told her I was going to admit myself into a psychiatric unit. It wouldn’t be my first time either. She told me to meet her for lunch to talk about it first. As I was on my way to meet her, I was listening to a Gabby Bernstein book, of all things. And it all just clicked. That’s when I discovered my Shadow. And that’s when my true journey began.

Once again, you’ve heard all this before. And the reason I keep bringing this up, is because you deserve to know my story if you’re considering hiring me as your spiritual advisor, but my story is not what’s important here. It’s your story that matters. The story I will either help you create or help you rebuild. I don’t consider myself any wiser than anyone else. I am just a guide. You’re the one putting in the work. I can only show you the way. It’s up to you to walk the path.

You don’t need to go anywhere. Because all the answers you seek exist inside of you. You need to journey inward, not outward. The only path to the light is through the darkness.
